The Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park offers a range of top-notch amenities designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of your stay. Guests can enjoy spacious, full-hookup sites that accommodate large RVs, complete with 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. The park features modern restrooms, private showers, and a well-equipped laundry facility. For those seeking relaxation, there’s a beautifully landscaped picnic area with barbecue grills, perfect for outdoor dining. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, ensuring you stay connected. Additionally, the park offers a dog-friendly environment with a designated pet area, making it an ideal spot for travelers with pets. There is also the opportunity to rent bikes to ride down the Greenbelt or just around the park if you don’t bring your own. Whether you’re staying for a night or an extended period, Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Access

All roads are paved leading to the RV park but there is a section that feels like you are not in the nicest of neighborhoods when approaching the park. This may be why the park is gated and you require a code to enter.

Accessing Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park is convenient and straightforward, making it an ideal stop for travelers. The park is located just off I-15, providing easy access for those coming from both north and south directions. If you’re traveling from the interstate, take Exit 119 and follow the signs directing you to the park. The entrance is clearly marked, and the park is situated in a location that’s close to local attractions, shopping centers, and dining options. The park is located across from railroad tracks. Whether you’re arriving from nearby Idaho Falls or further afield, the well-maintained roads and clear signage ensure a hassle-free journey to this welcoming RV park.

Atmosphere

This RV park is pretty pricey to stay in. It is over $100 a night to stay (this was 2023). When we were booking in this area we could not find another park with availability so we bit the bullet and stayed here. It is incredibly clean and well-manicured. It was quiet. I did not see any families with small children here during our stay. There is nothing in the park for children to do.

Environment

Each site is on a leveled concrete slab with a small patch of grass. There is no privacy screening between sites. You are open to your neighbor. The sites are average in size. Definitely not small but not abundantly large. Each site has a picnic table and a built-in fire pit. There is also a fireplace in the lodge and a community outdoor fireplace just outside the lodge.

The restrooms are private. This means you have your own toilet and shower. This is a nice change from other campgrounds. The restroom offers lots of space and they are very clean. However, the park is large and I only saw 4 of these restrooms for the entire facility. I feel like a park this size requires more restrooms.

There is a very clean coin-operated laundry room next to the restrooms. This park also has pickleball courts. Since this is the new rage I think people would love this.

At the back of the park is a coded gate that leads to the Snake River and the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Trail. This is a nice feature if you like to bike or walk. The downtown is about 2 miles away. It is an easy flat walk that is mostly shaded. We walked this at night and felt safe.

Surrounding Area

The area surrounding Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park offers a variety of attractions and activities for all types of travelers. Just a short drive away, you can explore the stunning Snake River Greenbelt, a scenic 6-mile trail perfect for walking, biking, and picnicking, with picturesque views of the river and the iconic Idaho Falls waterfall. For art and history enthusiasts, the Museum of Idaho offers fascinating exhibits on the region’s history, science, and culture. Downtown Idaho Falls boasts a vibrant arts scene with galleries, shops, and restaurants, where you can enjoy local cuisine and unique shopping experiences. Don’t forget to stop by and experience the beautiful Japanese Friendship Gardens. They are free!

If you’re up for a day trip, the Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park is a family-friendly destination featuring diverse animal exhibits. Nature lovers can venture a bit further to explore Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, or Craters of the Moon National Monument, all within driving distance. Whether you’re interested in outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, or simply relaxing in a beautiful setting, the area around Idaho Falls Luxury RV Park has something for everyone.

If you want a day trip that is a bit closer than Yellowstone or the Tetons, try the less known and less populated Mesa Falls. It is less than an hour and a half drive from the park and well worth it. The falls are stunning.

In the downtown area across from the falls is a restaurant The Copper Rill. I wasn’t expecting much from the food here but I have to tell you guys…if you are in town, stop here and eat. I think they were hiding a Michelin Star in their kitchen. Everything we ate was divine.

Favorite Thing…

It is the simple things in life that excite me. The individual, private bathrooms that were super clean and spacious were a perk after being on the road for weeks.

If I Could Change One Thing…

For the amount of money it costs to stay here, I would have loved to have more privacy from my neighbor. A simply pony fence between sites could easily solve the problem of staring at your neighbor when you are relaxing outside of your camper. It would have felt more like a luxury space if there was some separation between sites.
