Amenities
This is a big campground with a lot of sites. There are several primitive sites but most have full hookups. There is a single tennis court and a run-down basketball court. The general store is well stocked with drinks and gifts. There is a bar with an open area for eating, playing games, or watching the weekend entertainment. There is a dried-up river bed that the kids love to play in. It is good for walking the dogs too.
The roads in the campground are paved and flat. They are great for bike riding. The roads are not smooth or in great condition but this adds to the excitement of the ride. On the backside of the park is an open space for mountain bike riding or taking your ebike off-road if you are into that.
There is a large pool area that is open from May 1 to November 1. However, we stayed the week of Thanksgiving and it was warm so they opened the pool.
The campground has a snack shop/restaurant that is open during peak times. You will have to check availability when you arrive. It was closed during the week when we were there.
The sites are flat and easy to level on. The sites are dirt.
There is a private lake on the property. At the time of our stay (November 2021), the road to the lake was newly paved but you could not access the lake. Access to the lake has been closed for four years but could open soon.

Access
The road to get to this campground is super easy. It takes two main freeways the I-15 and the 79. Both are multi-lane and can often get congested so watch for quick stops on the freeway. The road into the park is paved and well maintained.
Atmosphere
There are a lot of families that stay at this park. A few nights it was very noisy. The park rents out golf carts and there were teenagers driving around with loud music until after 8:00 pm. This may or may not bother you. Our last night at the park was quieter after dark which was much nicer. We prefer a more peaceful night in the campground. However, there are a lot of kids playing and if you have children of your own, this is a plus. Our kids had a great time here and my son made a few friends.
Environment
The campsite feels safe. There is no outside lighting in the bathrooms so the campground stays very dark. As mentioned above it can be loud at night.
Surrounding area
This park feels like it is far away but it is very close to town with many shops and restaurants nearby. Temecula is known for its wineries. These are all very close.
Favorite Things

We loved that there was so much to do for kids at the campground. Another plus was the sites are very spacious so you are not on top of your neighbors.
If I could change one thing…
The noise level at night was not pleasant so I wish people would be a bit more respectful of others around them.
